Arrival: 7:45AM (Please be on time)

Volunteers: Please review the Officials Schedule for briefing times with the Referee. Volunteer uniform is plain white shirt and Navy shorts/pants.

Pool Address

Parking: The parking lot is quite small and fills quickly. Please drop off your swimmers in the cul-de-sac in front of the pool and park in the neighborhood.

Swimmer Schedule:

• 7:45AM: Viking Marshal on deck
• 7:45-8:05AM: Viking Warm Ups
• 8:05AM: Tritons Marshal on deck
• 8:05-8:25AM: Tritons Warm Ups
• 8:30-8:40AM: Village West Senior Recognition
• 8:45AM: Team cheers while we get officials in place, etc
• 9:00AM: Meet Starts

Our referee requests to meet with representatives from participating teams on the following schedule:

• Shortly after arrival: Team reps and coaches
• 7:45AM: Marshals on Deck
• 8:25AM: Referee/Starter Briefing
• 8:30AM: Stroke and Turn
• 8:40AM: Timer Briefing
• Relay Take-Off Judges: During the 1st Relay Warm-Up

Visiting Team Area

For team areas, we divide our large grassy area behind the pool in half. The Laurel Hill is the half closest to concessions. We will bring tents for shade! Swimmers should bring a chairs; we will also place loungers back there.

Concessions

Concessions will open early to serve breakfast food and transition over to lunch as the morning moves on. So it’s OK to come hungry! We accept cash, credit cards, and tap.

Spectators

Our main spectator section is on the diving board side of the pool. It’s accessible by exiting the pool deck through the short fence, walking through both team grass areas, and reentering the pool deck on the other side. There is also more accessible seating in our table area behind the announcer/slide area.

Bad Weather

Village West will communicate weather issues with guest team rep(s) and coaches and they will be responsible for notifying their members. Pool thunder/lightning policy is to wait 30 minutes from the last rumble/strike. All families are asked to shelter in their cars. If it’s only rain, we’ll continue the meet as long as the bottom of the pool is still visible.
